My wife and I currently own a 1995 Southwind diesel motorhome. The leveling system will not always come on when the ignition is turned on. Start the coach and let it idle for 5 minutes and bingo, on they come. Has anyone experienced this in Fleetwood coaches equipped with Power Gear jacks? I suspect there is a relay that is sticking but I cannot find it.

I've done a little research on how you can maybe get some answers directly from Fleetwood. Here is a link to their customer service and maybe they can guide you on some answers.

For anyone that is interested, I have written to several folks about this jack problem, including Millwaukee who is the manufacturer. And I have been working and working to solve the problem listed in my original post. Two weeks ago with the assistance of a good friend the problem was identified and fixed - the neutral safety switch. I have learned that almost all systems power up the control panel from the neutral safety switch for safety purposes. In my case I by-passed the switch as the leveling system has two alarms that alert the driver when the jacks are down or the system is low on oil. Leveling system is now working fine.
